O lançamento do relatório "A Farra do Boi na Amazônia" teve repercussão nos jornais do Brasil e do mundo. Depois da declaração de que o gado de frigoríficos como Bertin e JBS pasta em áreas de floresta amazônica devastada, muita coisa aconteceu!
The launching of the report “the Spree of the Ox in the Amazônia” had repercussion in periodicals of Brazil and the world. After the declaration of that the cattle of cold storage rooms as Bertin and JBS folder in areas of devastada Amazonian forest, much thing happened!
Wall Mart, Carrefour e Pão de Açúcar, declararam que não comprarão mais carne e marcas como Timberland, Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Hugo Boss, Gucci e Prada, exigiram garantias sobre o couro dos frigoríficos envolvidos no relatório do Greenpeace.
Wall Mart, Carrefour and Pão de Açúcar, had declared that they will not buy more meat and marks as Timberland, Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Hugo Boss, Gucci and Prada, had demanded guarantees on the leather of the involved cold storage rooms in the report of the Greenpeace.
O Banco Mundial, também declarou a recisão do contrato de empréstimo de U$ 90 milhões com a Bertin até que a empresa resolva respeitar o meio ambiente e a nossa floresta.
The World Bank, also declared the recisão of the oan agreement of U$ 90 million with the Bertin until the company decides to respect the environment and our forest.
